SECRET PRAYER: Exiled Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, listens to his interpreter as Cardinal Paul Shan Kuo-hsi says a prayer during a religious dialogue in Kaohsiung, southern Taiwan. Last month at the Vancouver Peace Summit the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu were jointly given the Fetzer Prize for Love and Forgiveness. The award has been instituted by Michigan's Fetzer Institute to honour those who are working for peace in the world. Both spoke of their desire to see more compassion in the world, with specific calls for more women in positions of power.
